Technology Review ’s Aviva Hope Rutkin has translate the paper ( which isnot currently available online ) , and excuse :

The authors believe this takeover will happen in two stages . First , computers will set out put back people in especially vulnerable fields like transportation / logistics , production Department of Labor , and administrative support . Jobs in table service , sales , and construction may also be lost in this first stage . Then , the rate of replacement will slow up down due to bottlenecks in harder - to - automate fields such applied science . This “ technological tableland ” will be followed by a 2nd moving ridge of cybernation , dependent upon the development of ripe artificial intelligence . This could next put line in direction , scientific discipline and engineering , and the artistry at jeopardy .
The author note that the rate of computerization depend on several other factors , include regulating of new technology and access to cheap labour .
Which — does this also signify we will have AI in 20 years too ? Wow , that ’s happening faster than I thought !
