Not having my ready to hand DSLR with me , I whisk out my Nexus 5 and tried to take a close-fitting - up picture . On the second try I captured this stroke . I then tried a a few filters and the “ bleach ” filter made the rampart stand look bold in the setting against the leaf . So I save it .

I had function out to the brick wall at the front of our driveway to try and take some macro photos of a really nice little empurpled blossom pose on top of the brick . On my room back indoors I noticed this maple leafage sit down on the flowers in the tummy on our front porch . I call up this would be a clean photograph opportunity . The leaf is incisively as I found it , and I liked the contrasting colours quite a bit .
I shot this with a T3i with a 50 mm f1.8 spacious open . ISO 100 and a shutter speed of 1/250th . No flash . The shot I did that day has made me interested in macro picture taking , so I want to pick up some wing tubes . There is a minimal amount of editing in PaintShop Pro X6 , just and auto colour , and maybe some light sharpening .

Picture was taken while walking through my neighborhood during an clouded day . It had rained previously so I was take care for downed leaves to take pic of . I came across this clustering of leaves in a puddle in a park . It was shot using a Canon 6D tv camera with a 500MM f/1.4 USM lens . I took the movie using Aperture mode at f16 at 1/30 sec . with Auto white counterbalance . Landscape word-painting style , evaluative metering and ISO 400 was used . It was shot in RAW format(is there really any other way to shoot ? ) and processed in Lightroom 5.6 . This was one of a series taken that daylight celebrating the fall .

Taken Columbus Day weekend ( 10/12 ) up at my house in Dorset , VT . Taken later morning looking east towards East Dorset . Just a arrant fall morning- about 70 degrees and was about to channelize out for a foresightful crusade / tramp in search of the arrant foliage shot — hard to beat this opinion from the top of my driveway though ! Day before was horrible , cold / showery and wordy . Drove for about 5 hour day before / day of and after 500 + exposure this one was near complete for its nice contrast of sky / people of colour with some scatter clouds . Granted I did some nonaged saturation work but frankly even the in the buff jpeg has fabulous colors ( happy to provide that alternatively ) .

I have an interest in macro picture taking and was aiming to both develop my science and catch the detail and color of fall from a different perspective which is necessary where I live in Norway ( Bergen although to begin with from the UK ) as autumn lean to be extremely cockeyed , dark and drab . I plunk a individual folio from a lacing - leaf Nipponese maple and froze this in a thin bed of water . This was film against a black background signal to return a monotone setting interspersed with frozen air house of cards . The leafage was fall with a 100W scant rootage put to the side .

The Fall color in Michigan has been phenomenal this time of year , but when I go out to tear it this preceding weekend at Largo Springs ( near Tawas ) it seemed like it was about a week too late . Much of the colouration had pass off , and on top of that it was a chilly , showery Clarence Day too . So rather than contract on the trees , I looked down and saw several leaves that had raindrop which made for a great macro position of the time of year . This was shoot with the Olympus OMD EM-1 body and Olympus 60 mm macro lens . Because it was quite blue in the woods I had to crank up to ISO to 3200 which gave me options of 1/60 at F10 in the natural light .
