Artists Matt and Miles Ritchie both love that shit . However , the forefather and Word each bring a very different view to their favorite pop civilization and those diverging points of view have inspired an devilishly cool new art show .
It ’s called “ Pop Perspectives ” and it open January 6 at Spoke Art in San Francisco , CA . The show is a compounding of carving , painting , and more , with issue plucked from picture , euphony , picture games , and television .
Matt Ritchie , the father , approaches subject like Star Wars , Spider - Man , Disney , and Friday the 13th with a more seasoned eye . He ’s exist with them eternally and decided to seize the iconic part slumped over , as a way to symbolize how stock many of these subjects have become .

Miles Ritchie , the son , claim the diametric approach . His art object are simple but more vibrant , representing a more overconfident and unused take on the textile .
