I ask to tell you a secret . I know fuckall about optical maser .
I know that for someone as intrinsically link to the futurity as I am it must be a disappointment to check this , but it ’s reliable . I understand that they shoot photon out in such a way that they lase and are glazed and can occasionally and inexplicably be made into swords , but beyond that I ’m pretty much just happy they are around , because I hear they ’re reasonably useful .
So when Bigha offered to commit me a Jasper Laser for revaluation , I sort of mumble yes and forgot about it , intend at the time I ’d doltishly accepted yet another boring appliance that I would be beholden to review despite having dead nothing to say about it . And that was true , in reality , until I get drunk .

I had taken the Bigha Jasper out of its footling padded pillowcase when I had gotten it and sort of shone it around the room . As a kid , I had the fugitive fascination with carmine optical maser pointer that everyone else had there for a mates of years , at least until a few hundred jackasses decided to deflower movies by gently massaging the zep ’s codpiece with a little reddened window pane and we all decided they basically sucked . And basically , they did .
Oh , so I direct it out and wave it around the way , and lo , it was green . Really promising – you could see the beam itself sometimes , which you ca n’t normally with a red one – but still sort of boring . The one jot I had that this might be sort of potent was when I pullulate , on a whimsey , into a bottle of Gatorade . It fall up very brightly , so that was something . At that point I calculate it was a $ 130 agency to make Xtreme Drinks even more Xtreme . You have n’t really lavaboarded until you ’ve lavaboarded with laser - force out Gatorade .
So then we had a BBQ , and I was sitting outside with my neighbors , and it had just gotten dark , and we had just gotten inebriated , so it seemed like the perfect time to wear it out . It was , to say the least , a crowd pleaser . We shot the Jasper laser so far down the street we could barely see its stain ( it grows somewhat the far by it is , so it always seems to be just about the same size ) . In fact , using my girlfriend ’s eyes as a control , I was able to corroborate that the Jasper laser actually shines far than I have the power to perceive unripe post , which means the optical maser also process as a handy manner to determine if you need newfangled glass or not .

And that ’s it , really . It ’s a really , really , really shining laser , and it ’s playfulness to play with when all crunked . Can you shoot it into the Nox sky and channelize out superstar like they say on the Bigha web website ? Not in Brooklyn , you ca n’t , but I would n’t be surprised if you could somewhere with less light befoulment . Is it really fun to shoot at the feet of the stoned skate rats who defend the doorway of their enclave at the goal of the block ? Yes , it sow much mental confusion , and not a little discord . Is $ 120 a fair toll for a laser ? I have no idea , really . There ’s not really a metric I can use to evaluate price with this one – I ca n’t even liken it to other unripe lasers , because as I said , I am recreational photon user , not a pro – so if you want a green optical maser , then I guess you ’ll be paying $ 120 .
And yes , that ’s my cat . I estimate that makes me a real blogger now .
