The Men at Arms folks can retire now . Not only did they faithfully recreate the blaze blade from Voltron , but they took “ blaze ” in the best , most literal way of life , in the sense that the blade itself is always enfold by flame . It seems extremely dangerous but it ’s also so damn cool .
Technically utter , this build is two swords sandwich together . A series of channels cut into the middle allow propane to jaunt up through the hilt and out of small holes in the sides , kind of like a sprinkler . And as the blacksmiths explain , their blazing sword build is neither a airplane propeller nor a functional brand but something midway between . Some boundary are piercing , but most are n’t . The flames work just delicately while the blade is on showing , but they ’re often extinguished by wind if the sword is swung . That ’s a footling unsatisfying .
But so what ? It ’s a sword get over in fervidness . What could possibly be more awful than that ?
