The BreathalEyes app for the iPhone and iPod Touch work uses the twist ’s camera to measure out the spirit level ofHorizontal Gaze Nystagmus ( HGN)—basically how twitchy your eye are — then calculates your BAC within .02 percent , harmonise to the developer .
The app does have its limitations and is strike environmental variables such as eminent altitude and interaction other drugs , so you probably should n’t use this as justification for getting behind the wheel after knock a few back . And , judging by the user feedback at the App Store , it ’s either a number heavy - handed or very generous look your Department of State of hammeredness .
