Busy Philippsis one face you’re not going to see on a dating app.
The actress, 44, shared her opinion on some hot-button questions when it comes to dating as she appeared on Wednesday’s episode ofToday with Hoda & Jenna, including revealing whether or not she’s tried out dating apps herself.
While she confirmed that she has, in fact, tried online dating, she was steadfast in her opposition to it — at least for herself.
“No! No,” she said whenHoda Kotbasked if she’d found any success. “I’m happy for who it’s for, but it’s not for me.”
When it comes to her friends, though, she’s all ears and is keen to help them, especially when it comes to building a profile. “You need another set of eyes – or four sets of eyes – of people who know you best,” Philipps said, adding, “Even before I was single, I would do it for my friends.”

Philipps and Silverstein, 52, had split more than a year prior to the announcement, she revealed in an episode of her podcast,Busy Philipps Is Doing Her Best.
“It’s been a really long time that Marc and I have been separated, and our kids know, our families know, our friends know,” she said on the tell-all episode.
She and Silverstein had opted not to go for the “conventional” approach to a separation in the public eye as she said, “Marc and I talked about it, and when we first separated, we couldn’t even think about putting one of those statements out — it made us sick, both of us, truly ill.”

She said it had been a “journey” for them as they tried to “figure out” their own feelings on the situation before taking it public. “It was just a safer bet to not.”
Her co-host Caissie St. Onge pointed out that the pair are “the least separate separated people I’ve probably ever known,” to which Philipps said, “Well we love each other — very much! And we have these beautiful kids together. And there are a lot of things that really work about our relationship.”
