Aside from Morton , these family line have worked with Nolan before : Thomas Nelson Page excellently played Ariadne in 2010’sInceptionand Irwin voiced and operatedInterstellar’sTARS robot back in 2014 , while Patel more recently popped up in 2020’sTenet . Based on Homer ’s famous story about Greek hero Odysseus ’ grueling trek home from war , Universal antecedently describedThe Odysseyas a “ fabulous action epic shoot across the world , ” and talked up the IMAX tech used to make it . Production ’s set to commence sometime in February , and report have indicated it ’ll be Nolan ’s most expensive yield to date . recognize Nolan , it ’s going to reckon good as pit and finger magnanimous , so count us in forThe Odysseywhen it release on July 17 , 2026 .
