Tanya Shukstelinsky ’s Cocoon projectis a impulsive take on urban housing , suppose a world in which tightfitting habitation are made from cleverly segregated sheets of fabric .
Shukstelinsky create this prototype , which she describes as “ temporary living spaces for urban nomads , ” as part of her final year task Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem . It ’s unmanageable to conceive of it as an low-cost alternative to urban housing , which is patently one of the ideas behind the undertaking , but it ’s a terrifically clever and snug anatomical structure . With just stitches in the fabric , Shukstelinsky has created distinct space out of her two suspended sheet of material , and the straps allow the dweller to maneuver the multiple levels .
