They hit upon an alien - create super suit that gives its owner unstoppable powers , but these guys go it up , each taking one of the four components . I saw Lazer Team at its Fantastic Fest cosmos premier earlier last year and described it asGhostbusters meets Super Troopers — with a sci - fi twist . Four Guy , of refutable genial sharp-sightedness , team up up to save the world with tech they do n’t quite translate . It ’s very entertaining and watchable , even if many of the jokes fall 2-dimensional . You almost ca n’t believe this is a low-toned budget film , because it has such a magnanimous budget scope and look . All credit for that go bad to director Matt Hullum and the Rooster Teeth squad , who ’ve been pumping out caliber online cognitive content for a foresighted time .
