The president of the United Stateshas a venomous , airborne diseasethat has already kill more than 207,000 Americans and more than 1 million people worldwide . The U.S. now look a home security crisis , the economy is in ruins , and we ’re a month by from a litigious presidential election on which the very future of American democracy depends .
In this context , in a class of unfathomable repulsion , Donald Trump catching covid-19 is the thing that has people eventually take on thatnobody has a fucking cluewhat will fall out next . As far as politics is pertain , that is dead rightful — nobody sleep together because nothing like this has ever happened before .

Of course , “ nothing like this has ever fall out before ” is something many of us have been enounce for the past four years . The cushion of obliterated norm , neglect for laws , percolating societal unrest , and an on-going globose pandemic has induced a corporate sickness that makes it hard to even think a whole thought , let alone find happy and content .
Then came Trump ’s covid-19 diagnosis . When we discover that the man responsible for much of this all - consume upheaval contracted the very computer virus he downplayed as Americans die , it cracked our genial palsy . It gave many multitude sicken by Trump a jolt of schadenfreude — a dark , twinkle reassurance that karmic justice live , even if it might somehowmake everything stunningly regretful .

To be open , I am not happy Trump has the virus , though I get that many people are . Do I trust that it might make it less likely he will be chairwoman for another four year ? Yes , he ’s an authoritarian tyrant and the world ’s vainglorious shitbag . Do I guess he had it coming ? Yes — I’m perplex it adopt this long , given his aversion to skill . But I do n’t want anyone anywhere to suffer from illness . Really , I just desire to never think of him again .
no matter of how you feel about Trump , the president ’s covid-19 diagnosis only add together to the uncertainty in a time defined by rapid - reveal impermanence . But some thing will not change . In an attempt to recover some solace amid a year defined by suffering , I tried to opine of a few matter that we can all be certain will still be true tomorrow . Let ’s see here …
A calendar week will be seven twenty-four hours long , concord to the Gregorian calendar

A blackguard will still be cute , also according to the Gregorian calendar
The sky will be blue , and bookworm will prompt us about deflexion
Earth will proceed to warm , bringing us closer to extinction

coffee will rest yummy to many people but still be deadly to dogs , proving the amorality of the world
Light will travel at 670,616,629 mph in a void , a square toes will have four sides , tartar will still be hard
Jeff Bezos will be richer than me

Washington state of matter will still have a county call Skamania , andits yearly fairwill continue not to feature any ska bands to my noesis
Mathematical proofs will remain immutably truthful ; matter will never be created or destruct
My wife will still have never seen The Matrix

I will still have never see Parenthood
Caring for someone else will always be worthwhile
The only social constant will be disagreement

The attire will be white and Au
That was hard than I expected . Also , I doubt most of these things will make anyone sense less anxious about the futurity . Math ? If that ’s where we ’re at in condition of reassurance , then we really are doom .
Correction : While Trump made a comment in late February that seemed as though he was calling the pandemic a “ hoax , ” he later clarify that he was not talking about the coronavirus . We repent the error .
