
Kenny G is a Grammy-winning artist, an avid chef and is partly responsible for bringing us the Starbucks Frappuccino. So, who better to suggest recipes to make for music’s biggest night?
The sax star, who just released his albumBrazilian Nights, put together a viewing party menu complete with cocktail and delicious appetizers.

TILAPIA CEVICHE“This is a great because it’s healthy and a little spicy at the same time,” says Kenny G.1/2 lb. tilapia, diced2 cucumbers, seeded and diced2 tomatoes, seeded and dicedsmall red onion, dicedavocado, largely diced1/2 bunch cilantro, choppedPinch of cumin1 lemon3 limesA splash of orange juice1 jalapeno, finely chopped3 tbsp. hot sauceSalt and pepper to taste
1.Put the diced white fish in a bowl (not a metal bowl) with juice of 2 limes. Plastic wrap it and refrigerate.
2.While it’s being refrigerated, dice and mix all other ingredients together except the avocado. After 20 minutes drain the fish from the lime juice and add to all the diced ingredients. Refrigerate.
3.Before serving, dice avocado and gently mix it into the bowl. Serve.

LEMONADE“Nothing is better than the sweet and sour taste of fresh lemonade when the Grammy’s get a little to long and you need something to pick you up a little,” he says. “the sugar in the lemonade will help…temporarily that is!” And the tasty treat can easily be made into a cocktail. Says: Kenny G. “You can also add vodka to this recipe for those that want to have a hard lemonade.”
2 cups sugar2 cups pure lemon juice
1.In a bowl, mix 2 cups sugar with 2 cups boiling hot water to make a simple syrup, and add to lemon juice and then add 5 more cups of cold water.
2.Fill a pitcher with ice. Add lemonade and serve.

20 chicken wingsSalt and pepper to tast1/4 cup hot sauce1/2 cup canola oil1 cup flour1 tbsp. garlic1 tbsp. pressed ginger1/2 cup rice vinegar1/2 cup brown sugar1 jalenpeno, choppedSiracha
1.Remove the end pieces of the chicken wings. Salt and pepper wings and put in a large bowl. Coat the chicken wings with hot sauce and mix. Then add canola oil and mix again. Add flour to a large plastic freezer bag and add the wings. Gently shake the wings to coat them. Oil a foil-lined baking sheet and put wings on top. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes on each side.
2.Mix together garlic, pressed ginger, rice vinegar, brown sugar, jalepeno and a big squirt of Siracha. When the wings are done immediately add coat the wings with the mixture. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
