Bravo viewers have seen thehighs and lowsof de Lesseps' love life over the years.

WhenRHONYpremiered in March 2008, she was married to first husbandCount Alexandre de Lesseps, with whom she shares two children: daughter Victoria, 29, and son Noel, 27. But the Count filed for divorce in 2009 after 16 years of marriage, leaving de Lesseps “devastated.”

“I knew that we were kind of separating, but I was hoping that things were going to work out,” she told PEOPLE at the time, adding that she always assumed she would be “married forever.”

Love helped heal her heartbreak, specifically in French wine distributorJacques Azoulay, who appeared with her onRHONY. “I feel very lucky,” she said after meeting Azoulay. “I never thought I would be lucky enough to find somebody like that again in my life.”

The two dated for four yearsbefore splitting in 2013. “Jacques and I broke up, and it’s really hard,” she said inRHONY’s sixth season. “We have been bickering back and forth for months. He’s my rock, he’s my best friend, [but] we don’t want the same things anymore."

They would wed on Dec. 31, 2016, in a lavish, three-day celebration in Palm Beach, Florida. But divorce would come just 8 months later. “When you love somebody, you have your blinders on,” de Lesseps recalled during an episode ofTheWendy WilliamsShow. “You fall hard quick, and I’m a very strong person, as a lot of you know, I’m pretty resilient, and so I thought I could handle it until the point where I couldn’t handle it anymore.”

Her quest for love comes at a perfect timing for de Lesseps. Next year, she’s launching a brand new cabaret show tour — cheekily namedMarry, F, Kill.

“To go back to that house in St. Barth’s was just surreal,” she tells PEOPLE. “There’s so many things that happened in that house, and to be back with the ladies there — and then throw some new ones in the mix — I was nervous. I didn’t know how it was going to play out. But I think we were all in such a great place that we just let loose and had fun.”

“Of course, we do pull down that fourth wall and get into all that stuff. But the show is really about true friends just enjoying one another,” she says. “And that’s the beauty of it. It’s good, clean fun. It’s not dark, like a lot of these shows can tend to me. It’s just what we need for the moment.”
