Six years after releasing his hit song “I Can’t Feel My Face,“The Weekndhas dropped its original music video.

The new video, which dropped on YouTube Thursday, was theoriginal iteration of the track’s visualbefore a “shift in creative direction” led to the one released in 2015, according toVariety.

The new, alternative version, follows The Weeknd and his love interest on a late night out, the two dancing and getting hot and heavy on the car ride home.

On Thursday, The Weekndshared stills from the alternate video on Instagramto celebrate six years since releasing his second studio album,Beauty Behind the Madness.

BBTMwas nominated for Album of the Year at the 2015Grammy Awards, and took home the award for best urban contemporary album. “Can’t Feel My Face” also scored nominations for record of the year and best pop solo performance.

The “Blinding Lights” singer won best urban contemporary album again two years later forStarboy.

His latest album,After Hours, was released in 2020 but was shut out of this year’s Grammys. The snub led The Weeknd tono longer allow his label to submit his music to the awards.

Nonetheless, the singer is busy with multiple upcoming projects. He isworking on an HBO dramawithEuphoriacreator Sam Levinson and producing partner Reza Fahim, recentlyreleased his latest single"Take My Breath,” and has adocumentary about his Super Bowl LV halftime performance comingout later this month.

In aninterview withGQpublished in August, the “Save Your Tears” singer teased his next LP, which he called “the album I’ve always wanted to make.” 2022 is set to see him on the road, kicking off hisAfter Hourstour with shows in Vancouver, Canada, in January.
