While Barker did not leave the tour to attend the VMAs, the “All the Small Things” rockers did postpone some of European tour dates earlier this month.

The drummer had to leave the U.K. tour leg to rush home for an “urgent family matter,” the band announced on Instagram. It was later revealed that Barker left to be with his pregnant wifeKourtney Kardashianas sheunderwent an emergency fetal surgery.

Both Kardashian, 44, and Barker both opened up about the scary experience through separate social media posts.

“I want to say thank you for all the support,” he continued, adding that Blink-182 would hit the road again on Friday.

“I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this,” she wrote.
