Travis Kelce’s keeps his grooming routine — and his relationship with his barber — tight.
On Sunday, barber Vince Garciashared a behind-the-scenes lookat Kelce’s post-season beard trim, when Garcia shaved off some of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s facial hair just a week after hisSuper Bowl victory in Las Vegas.
“THE 3X CHAMP,” Garcia captioned a clip of Kelce, 34, getting a cut.
“My brother@killatravpulled up last week to get that fresh cut after winning his 3rd Super Bowl! After growing out the beard for 2mo it was time to cut it back down! Congrats once again fam, well deserved my G! 🏆💯🏈”
“Just got colder in here, man,” Kelce said as Garcia shaved off a chunk of his facial hair, while aSnoh Aalegrasong soundtracked the experience.
“Man, just a new chapter I guess, man. Finished the old one,” he added. “Had to get it off my face, clean it up. Stop looking like a Neanderthal.”

At the end of the cut, Kelce looked in the mirror and said: “Haven’t seen this guy in years… back like we never left.” The photographer also sharedadditional imagesof the hair appointment to his own Instagram page, showing the Super Bowl champ kick his feet up and smile during the experience.

Kelce was first spotted with his shorter post-season scruff when hetraveled to Australiato cheer onTaylor Swiftduring her Eras Tour dates in the country. During the outing at Accor Stadium in Sydney, Kelce could be seen with the noticeably shorter facial hair, which he paired with a vibrant blue outfit.
As for the top of his head, Kelce’s barberPatrick Regandetailed the athlete’s signature buzz cut toInside Editionand other outlets. The haircut, described asboth a “skin fade” and “bald fade,“consists of bald shaves on the sides of his head that gradually fade into the a three-blade shave.
“Taylor loves the haircut,” Regan toldFox News. “She has watched me cut his hair a bunch of times and always compliments it after.”
As Regan toldGood Morning America, barbers have been “doing this haircut for centuries.”
“I think it just goes to show how big of an icon that he is that a simple haircut can be named like the Travis Kelce haircut,” he added. “It’s pretty cool.”
